Joyce Abel, Assistant Director

Dianne Brumley, Youth and Program Director

Dianne has worked at the library for 4 years. She organizes our successful Summer Reading Program, as well as scheduling any programs and/or performers we host at other times during the year. She helps maintain our genealogy collection. Dianne is your source for questions about classic literature. Carol Hutchinson, library assistant

Carol has been with the Lawrence Public Library for 11 years. She helps patrons find what they need, and repairs damaged items. Audrey Foreman, library assistant

Audrey has been with the library for 5 years. She catalogs and processes in new items, and provides tech support to our patrons.. She can try to answer your Overdrive, adult, and young adult fiction questions. Harriett Blomgren, library assistant

Kevin Moan, custodian

Kevin recently started at the library. He comes in every morning to make sure the library is clean and safe for our valuable patrons.

Other than the paid staff, the library also has a few dedicated volunteers who make our lives a lot easier, by shelving books, and doing just about anything we need. The Lawrence Public Library would like to recognize them for their hard work.
